Watch: From Silhouettes to Doorsteps — Saving People and Wildlife

Updated: Aug 20

Before you read on, take a moment to watch this short video.

It shows one of the silhouettes now standing along S.R. 224 — a striking, silent figure that tells the story of lives lost to wildlife-vehicle collisions. These markers are not just roadside art.  They are a visual reminder to slow down and stay alert to protect both wildlife and people.

At Save People Save Wildlife, we’re building on that message. Our new Trifold Initiative will deliver wildlife safety tips directly to homes, vacation rentals, schools, and local businesses — showing drivers what they can do to help prevent wildlife vehicle collisions-and what to do if it happens to you.

The video brings this mission to life, but the next chapter depends on you. Watch it. Share it. Help us spread the word.

Every informed driver is one more chance to prevent tragedy.
